Professional Qualifications, Training and Experience

Dr Michael Prager was born in Tuebingen, Germany in 1968. He enrolled in the Medical Faculty at the University of Tuebingen in 1989 and graduated in Medicine in 1995, having undertaken elective periods in ENT, Intern Medicine, Cardio Vascular Surgery and Sports Medicine.

In 1996, he won a scholarship at the University of Cape Town, South Africa in Cardio Vascular Research as a senior scientist, working here until 1999, when he presentedat The Cardiovascular Surgical Symposium in Austria.

In 2000, he registered as a private doctor in Germany and with the General Medical Council in the United Kingdom. This was followed by his registration in 2001 as a medical practitioner in Norway, where he now has a successful clinic in Oslo.

In 2001, he also trained with Professor Dowling Stough in Hot Springs, Arkansas in the US in Follicular Hair Transplant Surgery.

In 2003, Dr Prager was granted a full membership of the British Association of Cosmetic Doctors ( BACD).

In January 2010, Dr Prager was the only UK practitioner invited to present the new product, Novabel/Merz® alongside Dr Jean Carruthers (who first discovered the cosmetic benefits of Botox) at IMCAS in Paris, alongside Professor Bertold Rzany and Professor Javier Ainido.
